There are some celebrities that make it pretty obvious that they are wearing hair extensions. Some of the most popular celebrity hair extensions you are most familiar with are Jessica Simpson and Paris Hilton. These two women just love changing up their golden locks as often as possible. Their outfit usually determines whether or not they will be wearing extensions.
Jessica Simpson and Ken Paves have a line of hair extensions called hairdo. Ken not only is Jessica’s hair stylist, best friend and co-star of her new reality TV show True beauty; which features Jessica and Ken traveling to various countries in order to get the story of what other women outside of the US culture view as beautiful but he has also added the role of hair extensions expert and business partner to the list. Ken has actually had his extensions since the start of his career but really started making the HairDo line with Jessica in 2007. HairDo extensions are synthetic hair extensions but ken says they can be styled as long as you use the recommended temperatures on your appliances.
With Jessica’s celebrity status, its no contest that she is the spokeswoman for the hairdo product line.
Ken is also the hair stylist for Eva Langoria and Carmen Electra. Ken wants them looking their best for the red carpet so he will apply HairDo Clip-In hair extensions to give their hair more “pow”!
Ken’s HairDo extensions are quite affordable for your average Jane. The price range is $55.00-$300.00 for clip-in extensions. Ken Paves offers some easy demonstrations for the clip-in hair extensions.
A full and long pony tail is still a hot Hollywood hairstyle but often women do not have enough natural hair length to thickness to pull it off. When you are lacking, do what the celebrities do, they fake it with hair extensions. Check out Ken Pave’s video on how to put together a full and chic pony tail in just a few minutes.
Paris Hilton is another popular celebrity hair extensions icon. Paris’s hair changes from lengths and hair styles faster than she can burn through her credit cards in 15 minutes at Barney’s. Paris’s hair extensions feature 100% virgin human hair. You would think this would be rather unsettling with Paris to know that she has someone else’s hair on her head but it doesn’t seem to bother her one bit.
She gladly flaunts various hair extensions at her nightclub appearances, photo shoots and red carpet events. According to the official Dream Catchers website, Paris wears hair extensions every single day.
Paris’ hair extensions available in salons are not cheap either. It takes virtually 2 1/2 hours to have them installed and the charge is $10 per strand. Average person needs 100 strands or more so base price could be as much as $1,000. Ouch! Those are some celebrity prices for ya!
Dream Catchers does offer clip-in hair extensions that are more affordable than her salon applied extensions at Sally Beauty for only $40.00 but they do not get good reviews. Most consumers feel that the extensions are cheap, cannot be styled and they look extremely fake. Check out some of the reviews here.
Celebrity Hair Extensions are not being dominated by the young 20-somethings either. Rachel Welch, the 66 year old bombshell, has also released her own line of Hair extensions and wigs. Rachel’s extensions and wigs are made of 100% real human hair and she donates wigs from her wig product line to the American Cancer Association, which go to cancer patients that have lost their hair due to chemotherapy.
